Visa Requirements

Once you are admitted to Hacettepe University, you should contact the Turkish Embassy or the closest Turkish Consulate in your home country to determine what type of visa you will need for the duration of your education in Turkey. The visa application process should be started well in advance of your expected arrival to Turkey so that your studies will not be delayed.

Residency Permit

All students who are not Turkish citizens or legal residents are considered international students and need to acquire a residency permit. Temporary residency permits can be obtained from the Turkish Embassy in your home country.
